CereGate GmbH is pioneering the field of medical technology with advanced computer-brain interfaces that transform standard spinal cord stimulators into sophisticated neuroprosthetic devices. Our flagship product, PORTA, is designed to treat balance disorders stemming from conditions such as Meniere’s disease, neuropathy, and Parkinson’s disease, aiming to significantly enhance the quality of life for millions globally.
The objectives of this proposal will be realized through a strategic, multi-phased approach: initially by integrating real-time motion sensors with an implantable pulse generator to precisely control spinal cord stimulation. This is followed by the utilization of tailored software for calibrating neurostimulation parameters, ensuring personalized treatment for each patient. The final phase involves rigorous clinical trials to validate the efficacy and safety of PORTA.
Our treatment design leverages the established safety profiles of existing neurostimulators, enhancing their functionality with custom software critical for the precise delivery of stimulation based on individual sensory feedback. This minimally invasive approach has shown promising results in initial clinical trials, with the majority of participants experiencing significant improvements in mobility and posture control.
Supported by a robust network of investors and strategic partners, CereGate is at the forefront of neuromodulation technology innovations. As we continue to refine our technology and explore potential applications beyond balance disorders, our goal remains to transform patient care and improve outcomes across various neurological conditions.
