Beyond current AI: An explainable and efficient language architecture based on human-like Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)

Artificial intelligence (AI) is considered the Steam Machine of the 4th industrial revolution, estimated to boost the global economy by $16 trillion by 2030. However, the technological, economic and social drawbacks of current Narrow AI (ANI), hamper its full development and implementation. THE MINDKIND, based on the Emotional Theory of Rationality (ETR), postulated by its founders (Mario Garcés and Lucila Finkel) has developed a new Algorithmic based General AI (AAGI) that is traceable and explainable, moving AI beyond the predictive nature of current models to a knowledgeable system, more transparent and trustworthy. It does not require big data, being more energy efficient than current AIs, and it will be able to extrapolate data from different contexts to solve new problems for which it has not been previously trained. As a result of THE MINDKIND’s AAGI approach, ETR technology will emulate a pseudo-consciousness system capable of displaying emotions, reasoning, decision-making, and human-like behavior. This capability will enable machines to perform critical tasks. Consequently, capacities such as Movement, Behaviour, Tool management and Natural Language, will organically emerge from the dynamics of the ETR cognitive architecture, addressing the four major issues of current limited Generative models and ANI.
