Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are becoming omnipresent with their use in almost all fields. The AI market is estimated to be valued at €2.446,4B by 2032. However, today’s computing systems are still not optimized for AI applications. AI/ML computations are not streamlined, the algorithms are overly complex and not optimized for precision. Therefore, AI applications are expensive to run, and have a High energy footprint. By 2027, AI servers will need 0,5% of the world's electricity.
At INCEPTRON, we have built RunML, a breakthrough system to provide hardware acceleration for AI/ML applications. Our transparent, scalable solution is a pioneer on the market that provides a tailor-made combination of programmability, flexibility, and performance for each customer. Our platform uses Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) available in public clouds, and automatically programs them tailored to the users’ needs to provide up to 100x Faster Inference Performance, 50% Lower Cloud Cost and 66% Less Energy Consumption than current industry standard. With RunML, Inceptron is poised to be a market leader in delivering customized AI solutions with strong IP portfolio (2 pending patent applications, 3-4 in process).
We need EIC Accelerator funding to facilitate technology maturation and validation for RunML. This funding will allow us to automate manual processes in our workflow accelerating scale-up. We will also validate our system with pilot partners (Axis) and expand our team from 12 to 48 FTEs, before entering the market in Q2 2027. Financial forecasts project break-even for 2027 with a yearly revenue of € 98,8 M by 2030. The failure to secure this funding would result in a 1,5-2-year delay in the implementation of our go-to-market plan and will cost INCEPTRON its first mover advantage. Therefore, we request a €2.47M EIC Grant and €1.2M Equity to bring our first of its kind, environment friendly, affordable tailored AI solution to the market.
