Competencias Digitales Docentes Frente al Avance de la Inteligencia Artificial en la Educación

Teachers' digital competencies in the face of the advancement of artificial intelligence in education constituted the central focus of this study, whose purpose was to analyze recent scientific production on this topic in order to identify the main trends, contributions, and challenges present in the educational field. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach, through a descriptive literature review, based on the analysis of various scientific articles published between 2022 and 2026 and retrieved from the Scopus, SciELO, Redalyc, Dialnet, and Google Scholar databases. The study showed that the incorporation of artificial intelligence into teaching processes required teachers with the capacity to integrate these tools from a pedagogical, critical, and ethical perspective, moving beyond an approach focused solely on technological management. Furthermore, it was identified that ongoing professional development and institutional support facilitated teachers' adaptation to the educational transformation processes driven by emerging technologies. It was concluded that digital skills represented a strategic component to guide the responsible use of artificial intelligence, strengthen teaching performance and respond to the new demands of educational environments.
