Recent developments in Adaptive Learning Technologies (ALTs) and Large Language Models (LLMs) have created unique opportunities to improve teaching and learning processes through adaptive learning materials. This paper presents a pilot project in which an innovative and intelligent learning app called Language Coach, which allows to personalize learning materials according to the learner’s preferences and to individualize feedback to meet the learner’s needs was extended to the Russian language.
