This article examines promptography as a narrative-poetic-visual gesture, taking the Cartas Sertanias project as a case study. It explores how prompt writing shapes a situated visual cosmology, the transbiomatic backlands, and its aesthetic, critical, and pedagogical implications. The methodology combines a theoretical review on body-place relations, symbol/archétype, and techno-algorithmic mediations with a poietic analysis of 56 cards (axes Traces and Routes), addressing validation criteria and operational limits. Results indicate that the prompt functions as an enunciative rite, not as a script; error and noise open situated readings. The study concludes that promptography establishes itself as an aesthetic-methodological field, reinscribing subjectivity and desire within algorithmic interstices, and supporting artistic, pedagogical, and curatorial practices.
