The world is currently undergoing a profound convergence of a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation. As the core vehicle for fostering new quality productive forces, future industries have become a crucial arena for economies to seize strategic commanding heights and drive high-quality development. This paper focuses on the global landscape and evolutionary trajectory of future industries, systematically analyzing their development along three dimensions: strategic deployment, innovation systems, and collaborative networks. It highlights the ongoing shift from fragmented exploration to systematic planning, with economies gradually establishing integrated strategic frameworks centered on top-level design, technological governance, and industrial security. The article is based on a self-developed intelligence scanning platform. It has established a daily-updated, all-domain intelligence monitoring and collection capability. Focusing from the perspective of sci-tech intelligence, it combs and organizes the key layouts and dynamic progress in six core areas—future manufacturing, information, materials, energy, space, and health—across major global economies. It analyzes the critical bottlenecks currently facing the development of global future industries. The development path of future industries is highly uncertain and strategically sensitive. China should strengthen forward-looking deployment and proactive leadership in the global industrial restructuring. This aims to facilitate a transition from running alongside to leading in some frontier fields during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period. The goal is to construct a future industrial system with global competitiveness and systemic resilience.
