Death of Human Style of Writing in the World of AI

Abstract: The Artificial Intelligence (AI) writing tools like ChatGPT and Claude have changed the world of official and unofficial communication in last two to three years. The human style of writing is diminishing and there is a rise of only one universal writing style created by the AI tools which lack human expressions and creativity. The AI tools are rampantly used by students, researchers, writers and people in general for any kind of serious as well as casual writing today. The excessive use of AI tools in writing is also responsible for reducing human ability of logical and critical thinking. Therefore, there is an urgency of using AI writing tools wisely so that the human writing skills get enhanced and the tools prove to be a boon. This research paper examines the challenges posed by AI writing tools and discusses how the AI can be used effectively and responsibly to enhance human writing skills.
