Mechanics is a fundamental branch of science that examines the forces and movement of matter. Solid mechanics specifically studies the behavior of solid materials under various forces, making it crucial in physics, engineering, and material science. This paper explores advancements in solid mechanics, including computational methods, tribology, biomechanics, and nonlinear elasticity. This research advances solid mechanics by addressing computational challenges in finite element methods, improving tumor growth modeling, and enhancing tribological applications. It explores non-equilibrium thermodynamics, fracture mechanics, and fluid-structure interactions, contributing to engineering, biomechanics, and material science. These findings support technological innovations in structural design, medical applications, and manufacturing. Alternatives: Lack of policies and regulations, Lack of government finances, Substantial growth of MSW generation, and unclear composition of waste. : Lack of policies and regulations, Lack of government finances, Substantial growth of MSW generation, unclear composition of waste. The results show that Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) received the highest ranking, whereas TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) received the lowest ranking. Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) has the highest value for Solid mechanics according to the DEMATEL approach.
